POLAT MAKİNA INC CHAIRMAN OF THE EXECUTIVE BOARD İBRAHİM POLAT VISITS OUR UNIVERSITY

Businessperson İbrahim Polat, who exports machinery and accessories to approximately 80 countries to 5 continents, has visited our University within the scope of the "Sectoral Meetings" held within the Industrial Hemp Project.

İbrahim Polat, who has nearly 40 years of experience in the machine production sector, gave information on the machines they developed and their experiences to obtain CBD extract in the field of medical hemp, to our academic members of the Hemp Research Groups.

Under the chairmanship of Our Hemp Research coordinator Prof. Dr. Güngör Yılmaz, an informative meeting was held on the preparation process of the "Project Guide", which includes our 4-year work plan and will be presented to the Presidency Strategy and Budget Directorate.

Soon after this meeting, a meeting was held between the academic members of the Research Groups and businessperson İbrahim Polat, who visited our university upon the invitation of our Rector.

Businessperson İbrahim Polat from Aydın and his team and our University Hemp Research Coordinator and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Güngör Yılmaz, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Şenol Akın, Prof. Dr. Yücel Güney, Secretary General Prof. Dr. Uğur Kölemen and members of research groups working in the field of “Industrial Hemp” attended to the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Karadağ stated that the university primarily responsible for bringing hemp to the economy and conducting academic studies on hemp is Yozgat Bozok University, and that they undertook the task of bringing hemp to the industry in accordance with the mission of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). He stated that they immediately started working with the materials supplied by Prof. Dr. Güngör Yılmaz and that they have taken very important steps. He added that sectoral meetings have become frequent recently and that they are at the stage of building important collaborations with stakeholders.

Rector Karadağ stated that they are very pleased to host businessperson İbrahim Polat, one of the important industrialists of our country, and said that Mr. Polat will make very important investments in the field of hemp in our city, especially in the field of medical hemp. Our Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Karadağ concluded his words by thanking President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who kept the issue of bringing hemp into the industry on the agenda, and Vice President Fuat Oktay, who has provided his full support in this matter.

İbrahim Polat, Chairman of the Executive Board of Polat Group Inc,started his words with some sections from his successful life story, and emphasized that he made very important investments by using his logic in business life and believing in success, determination in success and teamwork are very important to become successful. Polat added that he has worked so much to add value to his country and will continue to work from now on. Polat, stating that he came to Yozgat to see the work done at Yozgat Bozok University, which specializes in the field of industrial hemp with a focus on regional development, and to exchange ideas, completed his speech: “Hemp is a very different plant used in many fields. We devoted ourselves to hemp and set out to conduct very important studies in this sense. I hope we will make an investment in our city of Yozgat and your University. "

İbrahim Polat, who also visited the hemp test areas, left Yozgat with great satisfaction and promise of investment.
